by Hermann von Bequignolles (1825 - 1867)

Herr Frühling
Language: German (Deutsch)
Herr Frühling, wer webte dein grünes Kleid
so schmuck, wie kein zweites der Welt?
Das hat mir heimlich zur Winterszeit
„Frau Hoffnung“ bestellt!

Herr Frühling, wer hat dich zum Überfluss
allwegen mit Veilchen geschmückt?
Sie hat mir als ersten Morgengruß
„die Liebe“ gepflückt!

Herr Frühling, wer lehrte die Liedlein dir,
frohlockend durch Wiese und Hain?
Die lustigen Lieder stahl ich mir,
mein Kind, aus dem Herzen dein!
