Lied
Language: German (Deutsch)
Nicht den Sternen sollst du trauen,
aber dem, der Sterne schuf
und auf dessen Schöpferruf
alle Welten sich gestalten,
alle Blüten sich entfalten,
ihm, der hoch im Sphärentanze
und im niedern Blumenkranze
Alles füllt mit seiner Kraft,
ihm, der tausend Welten schafft.

Nicht dem Himmel sollst du trauen,
aber ihm, der oben thront
und auf uns'rer Erde wohnt,
der des Feldes Lilien kleidet,
der des Waldes Herden weidet,
der im lauten Donner hallet
und in Zephirs Atem wallet,
der des Kummers Träne stillt
und das Grab in Blumen hüllt.
