The fairy song
Language: English
I'll be a fairy and drink the dew And creep throw' the honied flowers, And sleep in the Violets tender blue And dance in the sunny hours. My music shall be soft low gales That sigh thro' the dark green trees And Heav'ns breath swell the gossamer sails With which I swim the breeze. I'll be a Fairy and sip the dew And gather sweets from honied flow'rs and dance And I will hold a fairy court And I will call each slumb'ring lay And wild and gaily will we sport As the twilight fades away.
