Liebeslied
Language: German (Deutsch)
Hast du ein Lieb', halt's fest und warm,
treuinnig wieg's in deinem Arm!
Lächelt die Liebe, fällt Sonnenschein,
mit Herzenstrieb zieht Glück herein!
  Föhren, merkt auf,
  horchet zumal!
  Wasser, rauscht auf,
  tragt es zu Tal!
  Selig und sonnig
  dünkt mich die Welt,
  lieblich und wonnig,
  die mich erwählt!

Füllet die Liebe das sehnende Herz,
wechseln die Freuden oftmals mit Schmerz.
Jubeln und Jauchzen kündet das Glück,
heimliche Tränen verdunkeln den Blick!
  Vöglein, lauscht her,
  meldet's dem All,
  trag' es zum Meer,
  rauschender Fall:
  Selig und sonnig
  dünkt mich die Welt,
  lieblich und wonnig,
  die mich erwählt!
