by Sophus Gustav Bauditz (1850 - 1915)

Der er saa uendelig Meget
Language: Danish (Dansk)
Der er saa uendelig Meget,
som aldrig jeg faar Dig sagt,
det er som et Baand paa Tungen
min Kjærlighed havde lagt.

Og tidt, naar ene jeg sidder,
da vender min Tanke sig hen
til Alt, hvorom jeg vil tale,
saa snart jeg ser Dig igjen.

Men ser jeg Dig, glemmer jeg altid,
hvad jeg Dig vilde fortalt,
jeg har ej en Tanke tilovers,
thi Du er min Tankes Alt.

Du lægger Din Haand i mine,
Du ser mig i Øjet ind.
Hvor kan vel saa jeg tale,
jeg stirrer og stirrer mig blind!
