Sehnsucht
Language: German (Deutsch)
Weilet, weilet, schöne Stunden,
ach, ein wenig weilet noch,
denn noch früh genug gebunden
werd' ich wieder an mein Joch.

Wollet noch einmal entzücken
mir die Seele wundervoll
mit so süßen Augenblicken,
die ich nun entbehren soll!

Gönnt mir, noch einmal zu lieben
recht im seligen Genuss,
eh' aus eurer Näh' vertrieben
einsam, einsam sein ich muss!

Komm noch einmal, dass im Glücke,
Mund an Mund und Brust an Brust,
ich dich jubelnd an mich drücke,
du mein Liebling, meine Lust!
