possibly by Jakob Janitschka (1801 - 1841) and possibly by Johann Janitschka (1797 - 1867)

Mollys Abendlied
Language: German (Deutsch)
Schwebe sanft zur Erde nieder,
Himmelstochter, süße Ruh'!
Schließe mir die Augenlider
frei von bangen Sorgen zu.

Du allein gibst mir den Frieden,
den die junge Brust empfand,
nimmer find' ich ihn hiernieden
wachend in der Stürme Land.

Führe mich ins Land der Träume
über Frühlingsauen hin,
über jene Blütenträume
meiner Jugendphantasie'n,

dass ich noch in Träumen finde,
was ich einst so fromm geliebt,
und noch einmal es empfinde,
was die Wirklichkeit nicht gibt.

Confirmed with Gedichte der beiden Brüder Janitschka, Wien, 1838.
