Dauernder Frühling
Language: German (Deutsch)
Die schattigen Äste
voll sumsender Gäste
die Blüten in wonniger Luft.
Umkosten Selinde
und mich mit dem linden
Maihauche und rosigem Duft.

Sonne umstrahlte,
die Rose ummalte
der Lieblichen Wange so schön,
den Busen macht beben
und fallen und heben
der Weste erquickendes Wehn.

Jetzt ist nur zu schauen
auf Hainen und Auen
das eisige Wintergewand.
Jetzt rasen die Winde;
doch ich und Selinde,
wir halten den Frühling gebannt.

Vom züchtigen Kosen
erbebt sie, und Rosen,
die schau ich der Wange entblühn,
drum können uns beiden
im Winter die Freuden
des Lenzes doch nimmer entfliehn.
