Stoß vor den Pflug
Language: German (Deutsch)
Stoß vor den Pflug! Der Morgen lichtet,
Des Lebens Ströme brausen an.
Du bist dem neuen Tag verpflichtet!
Ans Werk! Bring vor! Dein Tag begann!

Der Acker dampft im ersten Glühen,
Von Freude blitzt die Wolkenwand.
Heb an! Und mußt du dich auch mühen,
Mit Stärke füllt sich deine Hand.

Es geht voran, die Schollen blinken
Und Kraft durchflutet dein Gespann.
Du darfst der Arbeit Balsam trinken.
Stoß vor den Pflug! Dein Tag begann!
