Minnelied
Language: German (Deutsch)
Mein einziger Gedanke
bei Tageslärm, in Traumesruh',
o wunderholde Schlanke,
bist du allein, bist du!

Dein Bild entzückt die Sinne,
beseelt das Herz in meiner Brust;
dir gilt mein Lied der Minne,
dir gilt mein Lied der Lust!

Seitdem mein Aug' gespiegelt
sich, ach, in deinem Sternenpaar,
bracht' ich dir liebbeflügelt
manch' Liederopfer dar.

O wunderholde Schlanke!
Bei Sonnenlicht, bei Sternenschein
mein einziger Gedanke
bist du, bist du allein!

Was ist's, dass heut' so bange
mein Herze pocht, mein Lied erschallt?
Wirst Holde du noch lange
so grausam sein und kalt?

Was dir aus allen Liedern
begeistert entgegenspricht,
willst du es denn erwidern,
das Wort der Liebe, nicht?
