Gesang der Wassernixen
Language: German (Deutsch)
Komm, schöner Fischer, steig' hernieder,
es winket Liebe dir und Lust.
Wir singen dir die schönsten Lieder,
dir lacht das Glück an uns'rer Brust.

Mit unser'n Locken sollst du spielen,
sollst mit uns schwelgen im Verein;
die Fluten, welche sanft dich kühlen,
weih'n dich in ihr Geheimnis ein.

Ein Zauber winkt in unser'n Armen,
der Sterbliche zu Göttern macht,
ein seliges Vergeh'n, Umarmen -
wie schnell entflieht die Wonnenacht!

Komm, schöner Fischer, steig' hernieder,
verlass die Erde rauh und wild,
in kühle Flut versenk' die Glieder,
die liebevoll dein Glück verhüllt.

Komm zu uns!
