Ej finns en jord för mig så kär
som gamla Sveriges rike.
Om vitt min färd kring världen bär,
ej finner jag dess like.
Mitt land, mitt land, min fosterbygd,
hur väl jag trives i ditt skygd!

Ej finns en nejd så frisk och skön
som Sveriges berg och slätter,
dess ungbjörkskog så fagert grön,
dess ljusa sommarnätter,
dess väpplingsprydda tuvor små,
dess himmel klar, dess sjöar blå.

Mitt vackra land, min fosterbygd
långt upp i höga norden,
där plogen går i furors skygd,
hur kär du är mig vorden.
Gud hägne om din fria strand
alltfort med fri och mäktig hand!
