by Albert Theodor Gellerstedt (1836 - 1914)

Källan
Language: Swedish (Svenska)
Källan i skogens famn
nöjer sig utan namn,
håller sig sval och klar,
vet ej vad världen har,
känner ej annat skönt
än liten krans av grönt,
virad kring pärlig bädd,
sällan av fot beträdd.
Vet ingen annan fröjd
än att med litet nöjd
le åt en solglimts glans,
spegla en myggas dans.
Eller att kyssa ömt
barnet som vägen glömt,
trasten som sjöng sig trött,
lammet som foten stött.
Källa i skogens famn,
visste jag blott ditt namn,
när jag en kamp bestått,
när jag har vilse gått.
