Schelmenlied
Language: German (Deutsch)
Ich weiß ein Haus im Waldesgrund,
da schaut eine Maid heraus,
tief in dem Waldesgrund.
Die Blätter hört sie tropfen,
im Busen fühlt sie klopfen
ihr Herze liebeswund.

Dort lag ihr Schatz im weichen Moos
und wiegte sie im Arm,
tief in dem weichen Moos.
Warum ging er von dannen?
Die heißen Tränen rannen
herab in ihren Schoß.

Der Liebe blüht ein neuer Tag,
herzliebste Maid,
dir blüht ein neuer Tag!
Schau in die Welt nach ander'n
und lass den Schelmen wandern
so weit er wandern mag.
