Chor: Freut euch, ihr Brüder, des kühnen Stand's, singt frohe Lieder und stoßet an! Solo (Tenor 1): Ich sprech' es aus mit frohem Sinn, dass ich ein freier Bergmann bin und in Gefahr, in Not und Tod vertrau' auf Mut und Gott. Chor: Freut euch, ihr Brüder etc. Solo (Tenor 2): Für Gott und Fürst und Vaterland, für Freundschaft und der Liebe Band wird ja mit echtem Biedersinn stets jeder Bergmann glüh'n! Chor: Freut euch, ihr Brüder etc. Solo (Bass 2): D'rum, Brüder, lebe unser Stand, der Mut gibt bis zum Grabesrand; es leb' der Knappen frohe Schar in Freude immerdar!
