Grabschrift
Language: German (Deutsch)
Gute Nacht, du liebe Welt!
weil es meinem Gott gefällt,
will ich Abschied nehmen;
meine Kinder sind nun groß,
drum geh ich in Erdenschoß,
will mir Ruh bezähmen.

Hatt' im Leben viele Plag,
lange Nächt' und heiße Tag
und viel Sorg um morgen;
meine Sorgen groß und klein
schlafen alle mit mir ein,
wie bin ich geborgen!

Falte ruhig meine Händ',
alles kommt zu seinem End',
so in Gottes Namen!
Ja, mein Bett ist schon gemacht,
darum sag' ich: "Gute Nacht,
gute Nacht und Amen!"
