by Andrée-Léonie Louvat (1885 - 1929), as Léo Dhréna

Les Larmes
Language: French (Français)
Les larmes qu'on verse la nuit
  Sans bruit
Semblent bercer dans sa douleur
  Le cœur
Quand le papillon dans la rose
  Repose
Et quand s'éteint la voix profonde
  Du monde
On peut enfin sans se cacher
  Pleurer
Et seul on aime à se sentir
  Souffrir
Il semble alors que la nature
  Murmure
On croit entendre une parole
  Qui vole
Et des mots qu'on ne comprend pas
  Tout bas
Semble vibrer autour de nous
  Très doux
C'est comme une mystérieuse
  Berceuse
Qui sait endormir notre immense
  Souffrance
Lentement sur notre souci
  L'oubli
Tend son aile couleur de nuit
  Sans bruit.
