Mutterliebe
Language: German (Deutsch)
Mutterliebe ist ein Engel,
er bekränzt der Wiege Saum
mit der Hoffnung Rosen, pflanzt sie
an des Grabes dunklen Raum.

Mutterliebe ist ein Brunnen
unversiegbar stets und rein;
Harmonie quillt aus der Tiefe,
aus der Höh' fällt Opferschein.

Mutterliebe ist ein Garten:
Lebesduft'ge Blumen glühen
an den Bäumen des Gemütes,
reine Herzensblumen blühen.

Mutterliebe ist die Krone
aller menschlichen Empfindung,
und kein Sturm, kein Zwiespalt löst
ihre geistige Verbindung.
