L'ivrogne corrigé
Language: French (Français)
Sans soins, sans peine, sans gêne,
 Au gré de ses désirs,
 Une fille gentille,
 Peut suivre les plaisirs
 Une brillante cour
 De galants faits autour
 Auprès d'elle s'empresse,
 L'environne sans cesse.

 L'un veut à son corset
 Attacher un bouquet;
 D'un petit air malin,
 L'autre lui prend la main,
 Tous cherchent à lui plaire.
 Qu'elle dise un mot,

 Pour la satisfaire,
 L'on vole aussitôt
 Mais dans le ménage,
 Combien d'embarras!
 On souffre on enrage,
 C'est un esclavage,
 Qui ne finit pas:

 En tendre à toute heure
 Ou l'enfant qui pleure,
 Ou le père ivrogne,
 Qui jure, qui grogne
 Et souvent vous bat
 Ah! quel cruel état!
