La sierra es alta y áspera de subir: los caños corren agua y dan en el torongil. Madre, la mi madre, del cuerpo atan garrido: por aquella sierra en su lomo erguido, iba una mañana el mi lindo amigo: llaméle con mi toca y con mis dedos cinco, los caños corren agua y dan en el torongil.
