Sei willkommen, Frühlingswehen, Sei gegrüßt, du laue Luft, Seid willkommen, grüne Höhen, Vogelsang und Blumenduft! Schau' ich sinnend an dem Bache Freudig in die Welt hinaus, Mein' ich unter'm blauen Dache Mich in einem Feenhaus. Gehen möcht' ich gern und weilen, Wandeln überall zugleich, Gern nach jedem Orte eilen In des Lenzes weitem Reich'. Alle Lüfte möcht' ich trinken, Frisch und labend, lau und lind, An des Frühlings Busen sinken, Jubelnd, wie ein schuldlos' Kind. Durch die Gegend möcht' ich jagen Über Thal und Berg dahin, Allen Menschen möcht' ich' es sagen, Wie ich gar so fröhlich bin. Ganz vor Freude trunken, wähne Ich mich blind in meinem Glück': Eine heiße Freudethräne Zittert mir vor meinem Blick'!
