Lisette m'a donné ce soir.

Afin que dans bien des années 
Si quelque front morne et terni 
Demande à ce vélin jauni 
Le secret de la destinée 
Cet te petite ombre fanée 
Lui donne un frisson d'infini...

Car il tient des choses profondes 
Espoirs, chimères et douleurs
Doux serments mystères des pleurs 
Regards perdus étoiles blondes 
Toute la misère du monde
Dans la poussière d'une fleur.
