Maga, mu armas
Language: Estonian (Eesti keel)
Maga, mu armas, nüüd maga,
Mõtetest väsind on pää.
Öö valvab akende taga –
uinuda nõnda on hää. Tulid mu teele kui ime,
ning mulle näis see kui müüt,
ja nagu palvet su nime
uneski sosistan nüüd. Laul, mis mu huultele suri,
tõuseb ja elustub taas,
ja minu süda kui uri
põleb su jalge ees maas. Mulle su käed on nii kallid
käed, mida pühitsend töö,
silmad nii selged ja hallid,
juus nagu kuuvalge öö. Tulid mu teele kui ime,
ning minu juurde sa jää.
Sosistan unes su nime –
uinuda nõnda on hää.
