Freundschaft und Liebe

Zwei Grazien bekränzen zart das Leben: 
Die Eine weilt, solang die Lenze blühn;  
Und wenn die Blumengenien entschweben,
Flieht auch die Tändelnde dahin. 

Denn rührt die Andre des Getäuschten Wunde  
Mit leiser Hand und spricht mit sanftem Blick,  
Und lächelt ihm noch in der Winderstunde
Den Mai der Flüchtigen zurück.
