by Thelyma Nelly Helene Branco (1818 - 1894), as Dilia Helena

Mondlicht
Language: German (Deutsch)
Wie ein Schwan
still die Bahn
zieht der Mond mit blassem Glanz
durch den lichten Wolkenkranz.

Heil' genschein
krönt den Hain,
und herab aus Sternenhöhn
goldne Flocken flimmernd weh'n.

Einem See
Gleich wie Schnee,
in dem klaren Mondenschein
liegen Triften, Tal und Hain.

Märchenpracht
Dieser Nacht!
Blatt und Blumenglocke glänzt,
von Demant und Perl' bekränzt.

Ew'ge Kraft,
zauberhaft
führst du deine Himmelsbahnen,
laß mich deine Himmel ahnen!
