Dragonerlied
Language: German (Deutsch)
Im Feld die Nacht noch brütet,
Schwertarbeit gibt es heut.
Wir sind des Königs Reiter
Vom Regiment Bayreuth.

Es mag der Krämer schlafen
Im faulen Federbett,
Uns ist nicht Ruh' beschieden
Auf Feldwach' und Pikett.

Zu Haus' Feinsliebchen sendet
Viel Tränen himmelwärts.
Uns schlägt im Waffenrocke
Ein treu Soldatenherz.

Es lebe unser König!
Den Franzmann er verbleut,
Und wir sind seine Reiter
Vom Regiment Bayreuth.
