Heitere Liebe
Language: German (Deutsch)
Ach, wie schön ist's,
wenn zwei Herzen sich recht versteh’n
Und vor Lieb'- und Sehnsuchtsqualen
fast ganz vergehen;
Doch nur wenn sie der Sorge
banger Schatten nicht trübt.
Ach! ja, Liebe braucht Sonnenschein!

Drum es fliesse der Wein,
klinge das Lied, funkle der Stein,
und nur jauchzende Lust
öffne das Herz, fülle die Brust!
So fürwahr ist’s Leben gut.
  Ach, wie schön ist's, etc.

Frohsinn und das Glück
hält stets Amor zurück,
Jammer und Verdruss
trübet den schönsten Kuss.
Drum sei’s euch gesagt:
Jede Sorge werd’ verjagt,
und immer seid heiter
geniesset jede, ja jede Stund’!
