Brautlied
Language: German (Deutsch)
Von der zarten Kinder Händen
  nimm der Kronen Krone hin!
In der Myrte grünen Blättern
  liegt ein tiefer, heil'ger Sinn.
Deines Geistes reiche Gaben
werden ihn ergründet haben.

Was die Myrte die versprochen,
  wenn du gläubig sie gefragt,
und was du ihr anvertrautest,
  was dein Herz ihr zugesagt,
all' dein Hoffen, all' dein Streben,
es erfülle dir das Leben.

Der geliebten Mutter Segen
  spricht aus dieser Krone hier:
Mein' und meiner Kinder Liebe
  folgt, Marie, durchs Leben dir!
Und die Freundschaft wagt zu hoffen;
immer sei dein Herz ihr offen.
