Viens ! la nuit est belle,
l'air pur et le ciel sans nuage,
la lune glisse dans l'azur
comme un cygne qui nage ;
les fleurs mêlent en un parfum
mille senteurs divines,
nos cœurs unis n'en font plus qu'un,
qui bat dans deux poitrines.

Pose les deux mains sur mon bras,
ton front sur mon épaule.
Viens ! nous irons où tu voudras,
dans les prés sous le saule ;
au bord du ruisseau babillard
ou dans le bois qui tremble,
marchant et parlant au hazard,
mais heureux d'être ensemble.
