Le rugiade
Language: Italian (Italiano)
O dolci brine mattutine.
Ecco il seno hormai di fiori
Con le rugiade ambrosia cade
Che d'amor li fa languir.
Su, pastori, al novo albore,
su, ch'Amore occhi non ha
né sa dormir.

Rugiade intatte di manna e latte
Ond'ogn'herba pasce e molce,
qual pargoletto il suo fioretto,
e lo rende ogn'or più bel.
O rugiade, o nettar dolce,
liquide gemme, onde s'ingemme
verde smeraldo, ogn'herba e stel.

Api novelle sono le stelle,
che dal ciel tra celle erranti
forman soavi liquidi favi,
e son esse l'api e i fior.
O de prati aurei stellanti,
api generose, stelle amorose,
api d'amor, fiori d'Amor.
