by Johanna Emīlija Lizete Rozenberga (1865 - 1943), as Aspazija

Puķes un zvaigznes
Language: Latvian (Latviešu valoda)
Kad puķes beidzas,
Zvaigznes iesākas:
Kad zemes ielejās
Pats pēdējs zaļums gaist,
Tad orbītu dobēs tās
Ar degošiem pumpuriem kaist.

Kad sapņi beidzas,
Zvaigznēs jāskatās:
Kas palicis neiegūts,
Kas gājis zudumā,
Tas mirdz pie debess krūts
Oriona agrafā.

Kad saule beidzas,
Sirdis iedegas:
Tās saules vietā kvēl
Un jaunu ziedoni auž,
Kur nepiedzimušās vēl
Jau kodolā saules snauž
