Klinge denn, klinge, mein Saitenspiel
Language: German (Deutsch)
Klinge denn, klinge, mein Saitenspiel,
will mich nicht grämen noch schämen:
daß mir die Liebe vom Himmel fiel,
mag es die Welt vernehmen!

Küsse denn, küsse zum andern Mal,
leuchtende Frühlingssonne,
mir aus den Augen mit goldigem Strahl
selige Tränen der Wonne!

Rausche denn, rausche, mein blaues Meer,
flute aus allen Borden:
eisige Nebel drückten dich schwer -
nun ist es Lenz geworden!

Lachender Frühling, ich grüße dich,
sprudelnder Jugendbronnen:
all deine Schönheit erblüht für mich,
mein sind all deine Wonnen!
