Han drager med, som sig med Eders Pagt,

O, tag imod Ham i det nye Hjem,
Lad Ham ved Døren ej forgjæves banke;
Men giv Ham Rum i Eders Hjærtes Gjem,
Og lad Ham signe Eders Daad og Tanke.

Saa vil Han Kjærligt styre Eders Fjed
Og skjærme Jer som HimlensFugl i Reden,
Og naar ved Kvæld I lægger Staven ned,
Saa har han Rum til jer i Evigheden.
