Per un camí de punxes i espines,
Jesuset infant amb penes fa via
dels seus peus llagats ne brolla sang viva.

El camí del món per ço amb greu fatiga
lo bon Jesuset poc a poc camina
omplint-se l’espai d’una olor que encisa.

Cansat i retut Jesús s’endormisca
trobant per coixí sols punxes i espines,
sang de redempció, dormidet somia.

Les punxes rebent regada divina
ja fecondant ne treuen florida,
les flors que han eixit són flors coralines.
