We two
Language: English
In this our world we two shall walk together, Life's half-sung symphony we hear afar! A message comes upon the woodwind's pulsing, It sings the secret of a twilight star Whose silver light was shining on a garden One still and mystic hour when love was born. When love was born! oh, then came faith, beloved, And hope and trust and ever changeless truth, A guest is ours: thro' glory years awaiting, We two shall find the heart of ageless youth. A twilight star is shining on a garden, Life's half-sung symphony we hear afar!
