Kindje des Heeren smetteloos rein
Glanzend in 't licht van de Gods zonneschijn
Bevend van weelde, stil van genot
In uw kleine hartje draagt gij uw God.

In uw kleine hartje, lichtzinnig en wild,
heeft er Gods adem zachtjes getrild
Wondere vrede druppelde er neer
Nu weent en zingt ge, Mijn God, mijn Heer!

O, voor onze oogen 't wereldsche zwicht
alles gaat op in Goddelijk licht
O, hier verstommen jubel en lied
menschen begrijpen Gods liefde niet.

Kindje des Heeren wij bidden u, 
blijf immer gelukkig en blij als nu
leven altoos 
zoo engelachtig, zoo schuldeloos

Draag God in 'harte en Hem alleen
Hij zal U dragen door 't leven heen.
Over bergen en zeeën door duisternis
't land waar 't eeuwig bruiloft is
