Die Sonne rollt an des Regierers Statt,
Geschöpf und Herr, in eigner Fülle satt,
Von selbsterzeugter Flamme Kraft getragen,

Und wie was Lebendes ihr zugewendet,
Das falbe Biatt, das ihre Strahlen greift,
Die Frucht, die still im Safte kochend reift,
An ihrem Übermaße sich vollendet,

So gehst du sonder Makel sonder Gleichen,
Ein Siegender auf unbegangner Bahn
Gelassen durch der Menschenwelt Getriebe;

Und was wir ahnen als der Gottheit Zeichen
Machst du erkennbar allen, die dir nahn:
