Down at the End of the Garden
Language: English
There's a little green plot where the apple-trees grow Down at the end of the garden, The daintiest place in the world I know Down at the end of the garden. There daffodils dance in the grass around And the thrushes' song is the only sound, I think it's a corner of fairy ground Down at the end of the garden There is someone I know will be waiting for me Down at the end of the garden, And there we will wander with none to see Down at the end of the garden Till the sunlight wanes and the stars are bright, As they shine on our world of heart's delight And love singing low in the hush of night Down at the end of the garden.
