Spring Came
Language: English
Spring came and went; The summer lingered; And both faded into chilly fall. But love still beckoned and persisted: Your eyes sent forth their eager call. What matter days or months or seasons? A heart may yearn but never reasons; A soul in love its twain embraces - All time, all thoughts, all things effaces. So come, let's greet the wintry winds, That cannot chill our love unsworn; Such love eternally is born To rule our hearts, our souls, our minds.
