Nun ruh' ich und bin stille, denn du, Herr, gabst mir Ruh'; was mir gesandt dein Wille, d'rob jauchz' ich froh dir zu. Vorbei ist alles Grämen; wie floh's auf dein Gebot! Dein Geben und dein Nehmen, ich segn' es bis zum Tod. Nur Eins will meinen Frieden noch trüben und mein Glück, sooft ich schau' hinieden auf deine Huld zurück: Ach, legt' ich alle Welten aus Dank zu Füßen dir, nie, Herr, kann ich's vergelten, was du getan an mir!
