Frühlingskinder
Language: German (Deutsch)
Heute summte mir im Ohr
Stundenlang die Weise:
Draußen vor der Stadt beim Tor
Drehen sich im Kreise

Frühlingskinder, und sie warten
Auf den Dichter, der verstohlen
Ihnen naht, sie aus dem Garten
Draußen vor der Stadt zu holen.

Frühlingskinder, wartet nur,
Finden werd' ich, finden
Eure sanfte Elfenspur,
Suchend unter Linden.

Frühlingskinder,
Ihr verspürt ein süßes Bangen,
Wenn ich meine Netze breite
Und ihr alle seid gefangen,
Wenn ich wieder heimwärts schreite.
