A jewelled rosary
Language: English
The swallow seeks the summer, The river seeks the sea, There's rose's heart for butterfly, And clover for the bee. The lark mounts to the gold sun, The violet longs for dew, But I,- I seek no more of heaven Than I may find with you! Your eyes are stars to lighten, And shine alone for me, And all my thoughts of you have strung A jewelled rosary. The swallow finds her summer, The river meets the sea, And you are more than sun or stars, Than life- or heaven-to me!
