Life is a caravan
Language: English
Life is a caravan, Love is the load; Joy sets her lamp above, Lighting the road. True love a rambling way May set you roaming, But at the close of day Brings you safe homing. Life is a caravan, Faith is the steed; Charity carries gold For every need. Laughter, — the music rare, For hours of playing, Riches beyond compare, Quiet for praying. Join this bright caravan! Love is its goal. Guide well the trusty wheels, Onward they roll. So, at the journey's end, No more to roam, Life and her caravan Shall bring you home.
