Shine, pale moon
Language: English
O Pale Moon so far above
Shining down on those I love
Over the wide world you rose

Viewing four reflections in the streams
Sending to the sad forgetful dreams

O Moon, will you shine I pray
on a land so far away
In the house where once I lay

And Moon, will you kiss his silken hair
And give him sleep if he's sleepless there?

O Pale Moon, until I die
I will see thee in the sky
A friend, when friendless am I

And Moon, some day I'll be there with thee
When I've fathomed this world's mystery
