Water‑Lilies
Language: English
To the dim pool, where water-lilies nest, Fragrant and cool fare the breezes of the night, And when they kiss the lilies unto rest They softly steal away on footsteps light. And thro' the night the moon keeps watch above With eyes of silver sheen and faery beems, Until the Dawn, when birds with songs of love Awake the drowsy lilies from their dreams.
