Sérenade lointaine
Language: French (Français)
Que ta sérénade
est douce et jolie
Dans le soir etoilé,
que péné trante
est la mélancolie
Da son aveu voilé !

Ô laisse voler dans
l'ombre endécise
Où se noy e le jour
Ta chanson qui
tremble au soufle de brise !

M'apportant ton amour
En longs soupirs,
puis en confus murmure
Elle passe dans l'air
Et près de moi,
palpite la nature
a ton chant triste et clair !

Ô redis toujour,
et berce sans cesse
Tout mon être charmé
Il aime ta voix,
sa douce tristesse
Car il se sait aimer !
