die Fessel aus Gold,
wie reich sie gewollt,
die Zärtlichkeit schmieden:

Die Geliebt' in den Arm,
die Flasche, gefüllt mit dem Geiste
der rebenumhangenen Leiste,
trink' ich froh und gesund mich und warm!

Lobpreiset der Ehe
beglückten Verein
als lautersten Wein;
mich schrecket ihr Wehe!

für ein Mädchen mein Glas?
um Küsse den Nektar vertauschen?
in Liebe mich einzig berauschen?
