Felicidade, onde estás, que te procuro 
e não te encontro mais desde criança?
Correste, talvez para um canto escuro, 
brincando de esonder com a esperança!
Quando, outrora, bateste à minha porta, 
eu não te respondi e, por vingança, 
partiste para sempre, mas que importa?

Si (se) a gente quando espera, sempre alcança?
Agora, comprehendo (compreendo) a realidade, 
e julgando a extensão do mal que fiz, 
penso que a verdadeira felicidade 
que o coração procura, mas não diz;  
A doirada (dourada) ilusão da mocidade 
resume-se em tornar alguém feliz!
