Ao amanhecer
Language: Portuguese (Português)
Cantai, cantai, alegres passarinhos!
Abri as asas pelo azul a fora;
Deixai os quentes ninhos
Que já brilha no céu a luz da aurora.

Já não tarda surgir o sol radioso
Que vem tonificar com seus ardores
E encher de luz e gozo
A natureza e as orvalhadas flores.

Deixai o vosso tépido agasalho
Ó joviais e bons madrugadores,
Que às lides do trabalho
São horas de chamar os lavradores!

Cantai, alegres aves matutinas.
Cantai hosanas à fulgente aurora
E as formosas campinas
Enchei de vossa música sonora.

Amanhece de todo. Oh! Minha musa
Solta o vôo também por esses ares
E despe de reclusa
O frio manto cheio de pesares.

Vamos cantar! As sombras da tristeza
Foram-se em frente ao matinal clarão.
E como a natureza
Festivo me palpita o coração.

Cantai, alegres aves matutinas,
Cantai hosanas à fulgente aurora
E as formosas campinas
Enchei de vossa música sonora.
