L'heureuse souffrance
Language: French (Français)
Cœur, va vite, pauvre cœur,
Va vers celuy que j'adore.
Et luy dis de quelle ardeur
Je brusle
Et que je l'implore.
Dis-luy comme nuiet et jour
Si loin de luy je souspire,
Dis-luy que pour son amour
Je nay que peine et martyre.
Dis-luy comme sans repos,
Eternellement je pleure,
dis-luy comme à tout propos
Me lamente d'heure en heure.
Mais, entre tant de rigueurs,
Tant de peines, tant d'alarmes,
tant de soupirs, tant d'ardeurs,
Tant detrespas, tant de larmes,
Dis-luy que si quelquefois
Il a de moy souvenance
Je suis encor mille fois
Trop heureuse en ma souffrance !

  (tendre et douloureux)

Hélas !...
